Ask him out, but not on a serious date. Ask him if he wants to go to the mall with you or something. He definitely likes you well enough to do that with you and he might get the courage to ask you if you want to go on a real date afterwards. If he doesn't, you might find that you like him more or less than you thought and will be in a better position to ask him out or not.

Just be str8 up. ask him how does he like you. " do you like me as a friend or could you see us dating"? i know that is a lil str8 forward but u don't have to ask like that but something like that. Ask him if he has a g-friend or is he looking? does he have someone in mind (if he doesn't have one) or if he does is there anyone else he would consider dating? You get the picture, just ask him
