I was straightforward with this guy that i just wanted to be platonically friends when I started to feel that he wanted to be more than friends... he was ok with it.. he said it was cool... now the other day he asked if i ever thought about him and i being more than friends... should i stay away from him? i don't want anything more with him than just being friends...

Tell him again you only want to be friends. Don't hang out with him without other people that you know around, don't go out or stay home with him alone. He'll get the idea. Don't talk about sex or dating with him. If he is still pushy, don't hang out with him or talk with him much at all. If he can't accept what you want, then he's going to lose you as a friend.

no you do not have to stay away from him unless that is what you really want and unless he is really bothering you. if he repeats a question like this just tell him that he is not your type, or if you do not want to hurt him, tell him that right now you are not looking for anybody more than a friend and if you ever will be, you will tell him.
if he is bothering you, set him up with someone else

Well quit been nice to him. Just tell him hey if you want to be friends fine but that's all we will ever be. ANd he does understand that well he does has a hearing problem or is just plain stupid.
