You shouldn't get anything you are separated.

It depends, you selfish life-sucking.... never mind. If you are separated, but still married and still legally a benefactor for his insurance, S.S. (if he was eligible to draw), or an other joint finances you will be entitled to as his legal spouse. Unless your very attenuated question is making reference to your own social security...then it doesn't meter if he isn't working...you cannot collect unless you are eligible regardless.

If you are legally separated, and he has gone and removed you from any connection to his assets (which it sounds like he should have if you are worried whether you are getting paid for his pain and suffering), then no...you are screwed.

It is all in the paperwork...I hope he protected himself from you so he can rest easy.

Nope, he gets social security disability when he is laid up and disabled. You aren't disabled, so you don't get to collect anything.
