if you work full time in canada, but are not a citizen (have a temp visa) can u extend your visa if you have a full time job? or who could i go to find out more info about it

Yes, you often can. You must call Citizenship and Immigration Canada - they are the only ones that can allow you to do it. You can call them at 1-888-242-2100. It is open Monday to Friday 8am-4pm. As the person above me rightly stated you can go to their website at www.cic.gc.ca (but you MUST talk to them and they may tell you to go to one of their offices). Another great website for newcomers to Canada is www.settlement.org and they do have an immigration section. Best of luck to you!

your employer has to sponsor you i think. just look up the net for sites on canadian migration.
