come on! evrybody is saying it's important whats inside than the outside.but do you really think this is true ? like people are just judging for the appearance of a person.. i want to hear youre opinions please....

while physical appearance is what initially attracts me to someone, his personality is WAY more important. I've said this in several past questions, but I'll say it again: I'd choose a guy who was mediocre looking but had a good personality, respected me, etc than a guy who was hot but turned out to be a conceited jerk any day. I'm sure you've heard the saying "nice guys finish last..." well I know that I'm attracted to those typical nice guys. I see no point in wasting my time with someone I know will break my heart.

Off course people care about whats on the outside but thats whats needed for mutual attraction. The "inside" of a person is most important for example, you see really good looking guy/girl but they can really be a bore or quite frankly be the opposite. What im saying is people will stay with you if you have a great personality and really get along with people and thats ultimately how a long term relationship gets started. Im not saying all good looking people are that way but being self centered doesn't help you get anywhere, but in the world we live in being dominated by the media, some people cant help but feeling self conscious about a subject of this matter.

To some people it holds true like I can honestly say in my own opinion it is what is on the inside that is better than what is on the outside. If you judge only on the outside appearance of a person you will be missing out on some truly great friendships and also sometimes when girls are looking for guys or guys are looking for girls they tend to go for them on outward appearance. I myself have fallen for someone I would not have normal fallen for if I just went on looks alone. But the intensity the media puts on looking nice and being a certain size goes against what's inside is more important. I mean think about it they are constently touching up photos of celebrities to make them look perfect so the media plays a very important role in contridicting beauty is on the inside not the outside.

First impressions are usually made on what you look like. But after awhile it matters whats on the inside. You can be sexy as all get out but if you have the personality of a rock or a heart of stone, you'll end up lonely. You'll never make it past one nighters.
It helps to have some good looks but it matters more to look great on the inside!

No the outside counts, but the degree depends on the person.
I couldn't be in a relationship with a girl who's face I didn't like. I could take an overweight chick if her face was pretty, because i prefer a nice face.
You have to have both, the inside and outside be acceptable to you.
I have really, really been crazy for women my buds thought were ugly, but i liked their face, for some reason...it just looked good to me (but not anyone else ha ha )

I do not think it's true,
I know that I personally do look on the inside,
but most of society doesn't,
most of society just wants someone pretty,
to make themselves look good,
I hate the fact that people judge by appearance,
not only for friendship and relationships,
but for stereotypes as well,
I mean,
someone who wore alot of black would be considered a goth,
and someone who wore a grill, and alot of jewlery would probably be considered "gangsta"...
I hate it,
but thats the way the cookie crumbles you know.

No it isn't true. People like to say that it's what's in the inside that counts. It should be that way but our society is so superficial it's a shame. That's why it's important to look your best always. You get better treatment when you have good looks and good hygene.

It's way better to look on the inside than the outside cause when you get together all that you'll be left with is the person on the inside.

Physical beauty is definately a positive attribute but its not everything. If a person is unattractive the best thing to do to build your self esteem get your education a personality helps too. Believe it or not most successful men do not want a dumb wife.

I think it does matter whats on the inside...i mean you dont want a really mean boyfriend just because he's cute....but apperance does matter a bit too....because if you take a bath once a month thats pretty nasty!
