This happens all the time, supposedly. Guys pick up girls in bars five minutes after they meet them...right?
But whenever I ask a girl out who I've only known for five minutes, she reacts to me like I'm a complete sociopath, like I have no right whatsoever to even approach her in the first place.
Yes, unlike a lot of guys I have the cajones to approach and ask out women in bars or wherever. It just seems like I have to deal with a lot more rejection than other guys do. And the way they reject me has been pretty harsh to say the least.

It's funny with girls. Since it's virtually impossible to know everything about a girl in five minutes, those who you do ask out immediately come to one conclusion: you're asking them out based on physical appearance. Girls simply don't want to go out with a guy who is shallow. But here's the catch...most guys (and girls) are shallow anyway; some are just better at hiding their shallowness.
Maybe it's not your philosophy to discuss the weather over tea, but if you make more small-talk with the girl you intend to ask out (insert flirting accordingly), then you probably won't get rebuffed so brutally.
If the girl still rejects you, then she's either very shy or a snob. Don't sweat it. Move on. But just here to tell you...five minutes ain't going to cut it.

This really depends on what you're saying, how you're acting, what kind of girls you approach, and the context. In addition to physical attraction, most women would like to know that there's something about them that interests you and not that you're just looking for a quick lay. Most are also looking for a funny/entertaining/interesting person that they might want to see at least a few times more. In my experience, most guys *successfully* show that by spending some time with you at the place you met (more like at least 10 minutes), then suggesting something non-threatening at first (like going to a late night restaurant, or just for coffee), and then moving on to something more personal (or just a phone number exchange) later.

Sorry to hear that you are getting rejected. Perhaps your quickness in trying to seal the deal by asking the girl out is coming across as insincere. It may be better just to ask for a phone number first before asking her out. You can just say you'd like to give her a call sometime. That's pretty non threatening. Good luck.

I am a girl I should know everything about that.Well girls they are very self conssioss they care alot about thier body.If you get to talking wit girls that are drunk.All you would get is sex and then you would never see eachother again.So try to be like go out wit a girl for a year and let that girl get to know you cause they think your a sycopath because you didnt like explain your-self.And second because their drunk.Every girl wants a soul mate and if you try to pick girls you like and wanna get to know her more then go ahead because thats the only way you're going to find YOUR soul-mate.When the time is right you'll will find your dream girl so keep on asking girls right down what you think you did wrong.So you can do something diffrent the next time.And btw this is my dads acc.Im juts on it for this.

you should talk to the girl longer, have some conversation for like maybe 30 minutes, more would be better. Girls might react to you like your crazy because you've only known them for 5 MINUTES! why are you so quick to ask them out? don't be desperate!

won't be able to tell if trolling... or basically very stupid... even nevertheless it sounds as in case you're a go cloth dresser, expensive sir/ma'am, because of the fact your profile image seems to be of an unsightly guy who's old and balding. i'm sorry which you have had undesirable reviews with women, yet i'm guessing your spouse basically divorced you. quite sorry.

Go up to a girl dont ask her out, get her number!!! Then call her a few days later and ask her out. Thats how guys really do it.

No that's not the way to do things. If you want to talk about "cojones" to talk to women, so can I. Except, the difference between us is I don't expect her to drop her skirt or pants for me within a month.
