Well I tried to ask my bf out after waiting months for him to make the move and got the "I'm not ready to date again" line. After he got with my friend, which I don't know why he did lol, he started talking to me. I lured his heart by singing to him, which was the first time I did. He fell hard. Guys are very very stubborn when it comes to asking a girl. We had always fought when we were friends about why we didn't ask the other out. I am just an old fashioned girl that waited but gave up lol. Guess it all depends on how we want things to go, but I was impatient and got tired of waiting so I made my move.

it definately is nice when the guy makes the first move... considering that most guys arent good at the relationship thing.... but it doesnt have to be that way all the time. girls can start it off too!

I don't think it's up to the guy. I think that it's fine for a woman to make the moves also.

I do believe that the guy should chase you in the beginning, but after a while, the girl can initiate things.

No it shouldn't be up to the guy any more. If you really like him ask him out. What can he do? Say no?

depends on the guy, if the guy is shy, then he'd appreciate the girl talking to him first
