i wanted the truth out of my girlfriend so she swore she wouldnt lie yet i get the feeling she is ,because she accuses me of it all the time

Yes you can. My ex does it all the time, about important things. I feel sorry for those who do that. They will regret it some day.
Are you doing what she accuses you of? It sounds like there are some serious trust issues in the relationship. ... Trust is an important factor in any good relationship. If you can't have it, then maybe it's time to find someone that you can trust?

Preachers do it all the time. They lie to people in the name of God. Alot of people discovered that if you swear to God, then people will believe you regardless if you are lying. Not true, people swear to God all the time and still lie.
But more importantly you either need to trust your girl until she gives you a real reason not to be trustworthy OR just become friends. If you really don't trust ur girl then ur relationship will go downhill from there.

You can swear on the name of anything and still be lying; I mean if she's a highly religious person then she's telling the truth but if she's not, then she might as well have said "I swear it on that rock lying on the ground that I'm not lying"...
If she's always calling you a liar it's probably because she feels insecure about your relationship.

Yes, you can swear to anything you want, and still be lying. There's no biological mechanism preventing us from doing so. What the situation is between you and your g/f I don't know - she just sounds really insecure.

Yes..some people just lie...regardless of "who" they're swearing to. It's unfortunate, but it does happen.
If you constantly think she's lying, and you don't feel you can trust her, maybe you should consider moving on.

i never would, but alot of people do, is she a christian or something, cuz they almost never lie when saying swear to get
