Both Windows 2000 and XP have extensive internal lists of printer drivers. Be sure you are specifying the correct OS. You can also download printer drivers from the Epson.com. Have you uninstalled any other printers before trying to install the new one?

Printer Unavailable?

Do you have the printer turned on?

Epson requires that the printer be turned on, and the USB connected of course, so that the install program can find it. It takes up to a minute, then the drivers will continue to install.
