I've answered a few questions here on Yanswers & have at times typed in the address of a website that I think may be of help. I've noticed that on other peoples answers that any website addresses they may type in are linked. (for the reader to click on easily) How can I do this please???

you need to hyperlink it by putting http://
in front then www.whereeveryouwannago.com after the http://

Examples:
http://www.justputhttpinfront.com
http://www.yahoo.com
www.yahoo.com
www.target.com
http://www.target.com

Hope that helps.. remember http:// first.
Good Luck

Hi copy and paste the address from the address bar at the very top of the page. By the way, Kinkyboots, to your answer about my mum, I'm awaiting a date with a counsellor. Can't thank you enough!!!! x x

Make sure the link is typed out correctly.

Many people can make the mistake at the beginning of the URL.

It should be this:
"http://www." - then your website

People can miss out the colon, or the two forward slashes etc.

Make sure the webpage you are typing in is spelt correctly and the letters are in the right case - lower or upper.

Test it on this link:
http://www.uckg.org

I wonder if people type in the html code directly into the answers - I will test this theory now.

link typed in www.yahoo.com
link typed with http http://www.yahoo.com
link copy and pasted in http://au.yahoo.com/ www.yahoo.com
link written in HTML Link to Yahoo

when I previewed this, only the website addresses with HTTP:// are highlighted - I guess this is the difference.

Copy the whole address in the search box (including http://) and paste. Simplicity itself!
