Was it a date or two friends going out? To offer money to help pay the bill is Ok if you are willing to help pay the bill. You both need to make sure it is a date or not and if is a date you can still offer to help pay for it. If he pay for the 1st date and you like a 2nd date with him ask him out and pay for the date. dating has change from the old days when females did not work.

If the guy asked ;her out, then for the most part, the guy should be prepared to pay the bill, but there is nothing wrong for the girl to offer to help, but that does not mean she "has" to pay any of the bill. A gentleman should remain a gentalman. But in this day and age, if a girl did the asking, is it right for her to pay the whole bill??

Read some of the questions here. What is the most common question ? It s " Does he like me ?- Does she like me ? " And you see young people over-analyzing little things like a simple stare or events that are even less than a stare. And girls are actually the main culprits for over-analyzing. If you only want going out some place as friends, just make it very clear when you ask him. He ll maybe wonder why precisely with him ( and why a boy instead of some girl ), but he wont try to hold hands with you in the movie theater.

Well me been a man and if I ask a woman out for lunch a movies, or anything I will pay. But some women tell me they will pay their own way that way there isn't a string attached. But with no I am not made of strings. SO if he asked you out and if he's a man and not a boy he should pay.

no, if the guy asked you out, he should be the one to pay for it. It's always been like that. The guy is suppose to pay on the first few dates. If you guys have been dating for awhile, then that's a different story.

Well, considering he asked her out and it's the first date, he should pay.
However, if they continue dating, there's nothing wrong with splitting the bill.
