I Have been a Jets fan for 20 years and because of a fun family rivalry, I hate the Giants. I am now living with a guy who is a die hard Giants fan. He insists that because we are now living together I must support his team and if I don't I am being rude and not acting like someone in a real relationship should. I think he is rediculous. Any Ideas?

If he can't handle you being a Jets fan then he is being pretty stupid. Support his love for his team as he should support your love for yours.
Get him some giants underwear or get some for yourself that you will wear on game day just for him. Let him know that your fanaticism is as valid as his.

Oh please... You dont have to be a Giants fan! I am a Jets fan, but even if I wasnt, it would not matter. Once a Jets' fan, always a Jets' fan.
As far as the Giants go, I couldnt careless for them. Even though you hate the Giants, try not to hate them too much in front of your roommate. You dont have to cheer for them, but dont celebrate when they lose. Let the Giants be... The most important thing is not to lose your passion of 20 years.

He should respect your decision to support Jet team. He should put you first before the dumb Giants team. Why would you let him decided which team you should support? This is a democracy country.

no you don't have to support histeam, but it does becom fun when they play each other...you could bet sexual favors on it...just make it a fun rivalry.
