Why an avater in stead of a picture?

just a old fart , avatar lets me play more , have picture on 360 but its still more fun pretending to be handsome in a avatar

For Me It IS simple I Don't Have the Computer Equipment To Do That Plus I Don't Know How That Is Why I Have An Avatar

For the simple reason it took me awhile to figure out how to put an avatar up there much less a picture! LOL Yes I am that bad!

Not every person wants a real picture of themselves on the internet, at least I don't anyway. I'm a married woman and if I put a real picture of myself on the internet, all kinds of men would be e-mailing me and I don't want that kind of attention. It's funny that you mentioned that because my husband was against me putting a real picture of myself, on the net. You'd be surprised how many people can get obsessed, over what you look like. To each it's own, it's whatever you feel comfortable doing.

Neither I, nor the system that I am using has these capabilities. Besides, my Avatar does look like me, except for the glasses. Mine have wire rims in real life!

because avatars arent as s*l*u*t*t*y as ur pictures that you have on, and some people dont want their ID shown, pics give away your ID, and people can come and get ya... avatars are safe, and fun....
