You need to see your own doctor for an opinion and perhaps referral to a doctor who deals with growth disorders (if thats what it is)....;

A xray isn't going to show if you are going to grow taller.
There are doctors who can administer growth hormones if a person is unusually short, but not knowing your age it's hard to say if you still might grow taller. It's all a matter of genes and brothers are often different in heights. But if your not going to get any taller, you are just going to have to accept it. You are going to be the tallest man, nor the shortest man on earth, but your are going to be a "man" no matter what your height is. Many short men have been very influential and powerful in history, it's not your height that make you a man.
Brother's have a tendency to pick on each other, just ignore him.

The will check your bones and your pituary gland which very much determines your height. If there is a problem with your gland they can treat it. I don't know how old you are but I started High School with a boy that was 4"11 and graduated at 6 Feet.
Good Luck

An Orthopedic Dr can do x-rays to check out the growth plates of your bones and can tell if they are mature.(Mature will indicate that your have probably reached your maximum height.)
You might want to see an Endocrinologist who can do a hormone test on you and see if you are producing enough hormones for growth and can also check your thyroid.
Height does not measure the quality of manhood and should not be considered as such.
Manhood is in your compassion,understanding and responsbilities.
Brothers do things like this and I suppose it probably one way manhood is developed because it is definately a test of manhood in how you respond to his own insecurities.

You need an x ray of your elbow joint to see if your epiphyses (ends of bones) have ossified completely. If they have, your bones will not grow any further, even with growth hormone.
For a hormone work-up, you need to see an endocrinologist.

X rays tell you nothing. It is purely in your genetic make up. Some people are destined to be short. How old are you?
