I would only drink them 1-2 times a day because you are getting a lot of fruit in just one smoothie itself. it still probably has some calories, and no fat but it will fit in a healthy diet. maybe have a smoothie for breakfast or as a snack. filll your diet with other things like proteins and whole grains

Calories:
Can of tropical fruit = ~200
4 strawberries = 20
1 apple = 70
1 banana = 100
3.5 tsp powdered sugar = 35
2 drops of Gatoraid = ~5
ice cubes = 0

Total about 450 calories. If you drink three of those a day, it's about 1300 calories. Depending on your current body weight and activity level, that could be enough to lose weight. But, it is not very nutritionally balanced.

2 DROPS of Gatoraid?
Have you tried it without this? Sounds to me like you probably wouldn't even need it if you're using such a small amount. If you can leave it out, you'd cut some calories out right there.

Also, what about trying to use Splenda or another sugar substitute instead of powdered sugar? I make smoothies a LOT and always use a little Splenda. With all the other flavors, you can't tell the difference.

Also make sure the can of fruit you're using is made without all that heavy, sugary syrup. That can add a lot of unnecessary calories.

And like someone else said, I don't think you really need this 4 times a day. You're getting a lot of fruit servings in just one glass. Hope this helps you out.

Seems to be a lot of sugar in your smoothie, with all the fruit and powdered sugar, not balanced with any fat or protein. I would think it would really spike your blood sugar. If it were me I would leave out the powdered sugar and gatorade, put a scoop of protein powder in it and a little flax oil, or some kind of healthy fat, and only drink it for breakfast. That's just my opinion.

Leave out the powdered sugar and use fat-free light yogurt. I have tried the low-carb Dannon and it is really good.
