A good cheap way of doing so: Get a 12 inch piece of doweling - an off cut from a broom handle or similar. Tightly tie some strong cord or rope (about five feet) to it at the central point. On the other end tie a small bucket or such. Add weights to the bucket according to your strength. Holding your arms straight out in front of you, turn the wood, continue turning thereby lifting the bucket off the ground. Continue until it is chest high. Then slowly release it inch by inch until it is returned to the ground. As you get better at it, add more weight. It is guaranteed to strengthen your wrists and increase the muscles in your forearms. Using your hands. With one forearm do a movement and with the other try to block it. It will give you flexibility and strength
