I met a guy on vacation. He didn't call me for two weeks but then called me four times in a week and we really hit it off. He talked about our visiting each other and said he wished we had met sooner. For Thanksgiving he was traveling to see family and would be away for 8 days. He hasn't called me since he left and it has been 6 days since we spoke. Is this a really bad sign or is our relationship just so new that it is okay for him to bypass calling over Thanksgiving? What should I do if he calls next week?

Holidays are for family. he is spending time with family and maybe friend from home, and will call when he gets back from his trip IF he is still interested. if you had a serious realtionship, it is different, but right now, he is with his family.

Don't know about either of the last 2 questions in your paragraph. Those are desicions only you can make. Do talk to him about it though because if it upset you then you should let him know. well yes no, if it was me i would have at least called later on turckey day to wish you a happy tday and ask how it was, but not to sound negitive cuz its not, he might not be thinking of you, if he don't see his family that much, i'm sure he thinking bout them and spending time with them and not you, so as it being a new relastionship i would not think to much into it, and if he calls next week what do you mean what should you do, do what you would if he just called yesterday, say hi, ask how his fam is and how his vaca was.......if he do'nt ask you back then i might think he is just not thinking of you at all but if he asnswers then ask back how yours was, its all good dont' worry bout it at all

take a breath its okay....he is with family so he probably is chilling with them. call him when he is scheduled to be back or wait for him to call but take it easy its not that the relationship is too new its just he's busy.... if he calls next week ask him how his family was....

This guy doesn't sound like someone I would like to know. He probably has a lot of girlfriends and now you are just one more on his list..
Dump him and found someone more stable....
