YES!!!!! I remember singing it when I was in grade school along with silent night- I dont think too many people will have any problem with that at all!

I cannot imagine why not. Although there is no Biblical or historical truth to the story of The Little Drummer Boy neither is there any Biblical or historical truth to the story of Santa Claus. The Little Drummer boy is a poignant wistful song. It speaks of humility, a child singing the song would not realize this but somewhere in the recesses of the mind the idea of humility may stick and that cannot be a bad thing, can it??

Yes, I think it would be a good song for elementary school. I think we sang it once when I was in elementary school, but that was early-mid 1970s.
