I would shoot myself. If I became so detached to where I didn't know what was going on in my country enough for that to be a suprise...I would not consider myself a viable citizen.
If I knew it was happening, I would do what I had to do.

Move to Iraq. My son served OUR country, in the US Army. And I am proud that he did it! What the hell is the matter with all of you people? If we don't protect what we have now, then why not just move to a communist country to live? Because that is what this country would eventually turn into. Had my son died because of war, then his purpose in life would have been well served! Get the hell off your high horses, and off your candy _s_es, and actually encourage these young people going to war to be the best they possibly can. Why retard your own kids? Not one American has ever liked the idea of going to war,or having ones child be a part of it, but there are still wars. The Vietnam war went on for 14 long years, and yes, there actually was a draft then. Just ask Bill Clinton. Oops, I forgot, he didn't go there, did he? Once again, he eluded. I believe that every war ever started where the US got involved, actually had a democrat in the white house. With the exception of Desert Storm, and the current one in Iraq. Anyone up to a challenge? If you have a child old enough, let the decision be theirs, and not that of a meddling mom or dad. Thanks.

There is no draft in the USA.
It's a volunteer army, and my son is one of them---in Iraq-----so please keep your ignorant anti-soldier rhetoric to yourself.
Thank you.
