Every year I get one 'goof' present for someone. Like for example, one year I got a friend of mine some aloe toilet paper because she was always complaining about how rough TP was. I wrapped it up and everything. You can think of something silly to buy him or you can do something really sweet that money can't buy. You can get a journal and have everyone in the family write down how glad they are to have him in the family, you can do a scrap book of family photo's that was taken since he's been in the family or something along those lines. Just because he has money doesn't mean he doesn't appreciate those little things. Bake him some homemade cookies if all else fails. Buy him a book about something that intrests him. If all else fails, look on e-bay for gift ideas.
Just because he has money doesn't mean that he has everything he's ever wanted. If you give it thought, whatever you decide to give will mean a lot just because you took the time to think of him. Good Luck

I was going to suggest a gift card, but since your saying hes rich, you wouldn't want him to know how much you spent, because he may expect more than you can afford. I say buy him a nice basket of sweets, or a box of chocolates. You can't go wrong with sweet treats.

LOL Hawkohio! spoken with confidence "
A nice hand job and maybe a cigar"
My sis in law asks me what I might want, then picks out something I have mentioned.
I always say I buy for myself what I want, and I do, so any little thing is appreciated.
Right now, I need a new electric teapot! I haven't gotten round to buying a new one as of yet.

Something either for his desk or personal. Maybe a nice picture frame, or a pen set. Or a nice shirt, depends on his taste and your income. How about a cd with instrumental music, jazz.

I am not sure about the diabetic angle but how about a GOOD single malt bottle / case of Scotch, or hideously expensive bottle of wine you see where I am going here.

He must have a hobby or an interest, how about a subscription to a mag that goes with his interests? Failing that, books are always good. Try BUNNY SUICIDES or LIES ALL PARENTS TELL THEIR KIDS, guaranteed to bring on a giggle!xx

You could adopt an animal, either in the zoo or in the wildlife. They are a range of costs.

You can do it on the internet, just tap in adopt an animal, and pick your choice.
