So theres this boy in my class, and i hink he's really cute (not hot, only cute) and we talk in the hallways sometimes.
The problem is: he's kinda "nerdy" and sort of considered a "loser", even though he's cute--i guess its because of the nerdy-ness.
But I really like him. And I'm more popular than him. and i know that all my friends would dissaprove. What should you do? I really really like him, he's such a sweet nerd :) But i know my friends would be like, "wtf are you doing?" and i love my friends to death.
I know its wrong to say, "I'm not gunna like you because you're a loser." , but my status does matter to me. What would you guys do, if you were in my position?

If you really are this shallow, maybe you should leave the nerd alone. Why should he get his heart broken because your friends don't approve of him?
Something to think about pretty young things, today's nerd is tomorrow's millionaire.

Friends are not always right especially when it comes to who you should date. Think about it do you really like this guy and want to be with him? If yes then who cares what your friends think. If they won't be your friends because you want to date a guy who is slightly on the nerdy side then you should find new friends. Life isn't about being popular. Ten years from now it won't matter how popular you were but the great guy you turned down will still remember why you said no. If it were me I would go out with him because he was a nive and cute guy the title of "nerd or loser" wouldn't stop me.

If your status means a lot to you, then dont go near him, and the poor guy would have had a lucky escape.
He may seem a loser to you, but i bet he'll be the one with the nice house and car after a few years. Those who are in popularity contests usually have a baby and live on the social.

Just do it. If your friends are really your friends than they'll come around and probably even eventually like him. I don't know how old you are but after highschool there's no such thing as popular or status and you'll rarely ever see anyone from your highschool. Everyone in college is pretty much accepted unless you're REALLY weird. Anyways, if you're pretty cool, you'll just bring his status up as opposed to bringing yours down.

This is a difficult situation....You want this guy but you're also afraid of what other people would think of you. I can think of two ways:
1. Try and get the guy to be more..."out-going", but it is pretty difficult to change a person.
2. Introduce the guy to your friends. If he becomes friends with your friends, then there won't be any problem going out with him.

I dont know how old you are, but one day you will realize that what other people think is not more important than what you think. Also, they may not even be your friends forever, and he could be your boyfriend for a long time if it worked out. Go for it and your friends will have to deal.

going on a shopping spree and buy trendy clothes he can wear, spike his hair up. makng him totally hot.

Jus think of it this way ur the one dating this guy not ur friends and ur friends shoudl support u in any decision u make.After all they r ur friends rite??If u like this guy go for it u shouldn't let what a person looks like stop u that jus makes u shallow.

Dont worry about your friends. If the were your friends, they would be right there for you for whatever and whenever. So if you are likeing this boy that they wouldnt approve of, tune them out and play your on music. YOUR FRIENDS DO NOT RUN YOUR LIFE!!!!
