Real Ale when down the pub or out of a bottle at home. Real ale out of a can just doesn't seem to work so then a foreign lager is sometimes worth a try (Polish, German or Dutch maybe).

Real Ale, but a good lager on a hot summers day is enjoyable too.

Ale is the best for flavor. Most common lagers are watered down or taste like crap.

Real ale? I've heard of the CAMRA and whatnot, but until I know for a fact that what they call "real ale" truly is the real Mc Coy, that is, made without hops, and I'd like to know what else they use for flavoring and conservation, I'll settle for a fine German brew.
