well, if you dont mind staying in the best thing to do is rent a movie, grab some popcorn and cuddle on the couch....thats if yoiu all can agree on the movie- thats fun and inexpensive.
also you can play boardgames( like apples to apples) which is so much fun....i used to play with my family (of 5) every friday night...

Head all the way down to the sea coast, that's many times loose! and would is merely around the nook and it particularly is somewhat commencing to heat up. Take a walk around seaport village. Take a stress out to the wasteland or mountains or the two! That merely expenditures gas to get there close by factors of interest like the Zoo expenditures around $25.00 for adults, Seaworld is as much as $50.00 in line with grownup. you could flow on a San Diego Harbor Cruise that's realitvely low value and is a 2-4 hour excursion of the San Diego Bay, young ones would unquestionably like it! flow to the youngster's pool in l. a. Jolla your little ones can see all the seals and sea lions that have made a house there.

Window shopping and dinner together at a diner. Or skating (roller or ice). Depends where you are--I think observatories are great places to go as a family (pick up fast food first).
If the kids are old enough, divide into teams and play games (pictionary, scrabble, etc.).

making hiking in woods with a picnic.

We went an helped our grandpa shuck his walnuts and it was very cold so we came home afterwards and ate hot cocoa and donuts. that is good if you go see christmas lights or something cold, We like to go get an icecream cone, rent movies and eat popcorn at home, make cookies, go see grandma, sometimes the simple things make more memories.

I am all for the picnic in the park, or walking somewhere, or just sitting home and playing board games and eating popcorn.
