Is it me or are these people who are selling PS3 for 4 times what it's worth annoying?

I went on ebay and saw someone selling a PS3 with 2 games for $2800. You can down payment a car. Oh my goodness that's outta control. MSRP $599. It just kinda pisses me off.

i think they are attention seekers jus advertisin tht they have 1 to annoy every1!
i live in europe and i really want but im gonna wait till probs they are steady and not being imported sold out imported again 3months later sold out again so maybe the 3rd batch when sales are a bit more steadier and cheaper i may buy 1 then! nie n cheeeep!

None of it makes any sense.

I believe people have become so obsessed with having the latest cellphone on the market, the very newest gaming provider, the fastest car, laptop, clothes, etc.
The list goes on and on. It's the "I want what I want now and to hell with the cost" attitude that got the buying public where it is today.
I was a little surprised that the price has gone as high as it did on the PS3, but I suppose when you have that kind of money to throw around, it shouldn't really dismay us.
And yes, it angers me too that anyone would pay an inflated price for a toy that will sure as h... is going to be worth maybe $200 bucks in a year or two.
But goes with the same psychology as scalping tickets.
It's just the way our society has evolved.

Companies are going to jack up the prices on anything new and in demand. because once the new has worn off the product the price goes down drastically. well, the problem with that is, is that now that the price is down on one particular item, there is a new better model out and the process starts all over again.

I agree. I think that the whole video game thing is overrated now. Why would i go out and buy something that expensive when I know that next year they are going to upgrade it make the other obsolete or old!
