Get him a pair of Silky Chicago Bears Boxers.
and get your self the matching panties or Thong.
the Card should read. for my favorite Bear... and Yours.
And then since lets face it your only together for a short while...
You can enjoy a highschool footbal game both wearing your sporty drawers,, and possibly desert afterwards... depending on what kind of dessert you've been enjoying already....
if you get my meaning.
And to kinda jokingly spice it up you can play the stars spangled Banner During or just slightly before, with some romantic music to follow...

Maybe a subscription to Sports Illustrated, Bears Jersey with a poem about how you feel if you can get a good game that they won and watch it with him. Do you know any more about him then that? He might hint at something.

keep it small, simple, yet sweet
its the thought that counts.
make sure to wrap it pretty, and it will be the most special present you've ever given him.

i wouldnt buy him anything though. i did the same with my ex and he never bought me anything. i bought him a dog tag with his name on it for his birthday and he didnt even remember my birthday! i say save your money until you know that the relationship will last! but its all up to you you know!
