as quickly as something is going up we sort of come to think of the modifications. that's no longer the 1st time it occurs. below Bush it became into the 1st time we had obtrusive this form of meteoric upward push, and for the clarification that we've been at conflict contained in the problem, its no longer specific that we'd desire to blame the guy in value. extraordinarily much that's what he will gets a commission for. Obama isn't blamed, with the aid of actuality we've been there, finished that, and its the 2nd, or maybe the a million/3 time fees have spiked. And we are actually not at conflict in any oil generating united states, Egypt is having political subject concerns that could desire to have an consequence on transport, even with the undeniable fact that we don't seem there so there is not any diplomatic reason we would desire to blame it on Obama.

You need help understanding obscure demographics.
America has 300 million people the statics show that 3 people (one in a million) think George Bush is a Texas farmer.
So why do 3 liberals think Bush is a Farmer with no connection to the oil industry. That should be obvious they grew up with...

The President,as the leader of this nation, gets blamed for everything bad regardless of his political party.
The oil companies use evrything from natural disasters to unrest in oil producing countries as well as supply and demand to raise prices. You also have traders bidding on oil that drive the prices up or down.
I read on the internet a couple of days ago that traders who have contracts on oil are going to have to take possession of the oil soon.
Let us not forget that enviromentalists have managed to keep the oil companies from building new refineries or expanding existing ones by getting environmental protection laws enacted making it more difficult.
And then there is the auto manufacturers and the general driving public and the people who want more refineries, but don't want one in their "back yard".
Those liberals are also investors in the oil companies too and of course they want a good return on their investments like all the other investors.

Aha but you are soooooooooooo wrong the Bush family owns controling stock in several Teaxs based oil companies, George W himself had one such company that the Bin Ladden firm bailed him out of taking a bath! They also are on the board of the Carysle group , so check that out before you once again have your foot in your mouth! America showed just how much we think of George Bush in the elections on Nov 7th, currently his approval record is lower than anyother sitting president since approval ratings were taken!

I think that the answer will be revealed sometime in the future, when the minutes from Cheney's clandestine "energy summit" that took place at the beginning of the Bush adminstration are revealed. I believe that the price of gasoline is being manipulated very artfully by corporations who deliberately and artifically inflate the price of gasoline by limiting the capacity to produce the product. I think that Cheney and Bush, along with the oil co.'s, conspired to increase the cost of gasoline. We will have to wait until the Dems probe this issue in hearings or until the records of the meetings are released from archieves.

and the middle east has nothing to do with the price of gas? maybe if we constructed more refineries in the U.S. and drilled where we know there is oil,we wouldn't be so dependent upon other countries for resources.but hey,I'll spend $10. per gallon just so the spotted owl won't be disturbed......

Bush's involvement in the oil company's would not have much if any to do with the Gas prices despite what kysteel has to say, if he had, the prices would not have gone up last year after Katrina hit, but hateful liberals just "talk around" the plain facts in that and "fabricate" their own ideas and evidences.
