Some guys as I assume women are into just ome thing. Perhaps you and most certainly I, myself am not interested into vague, petty relationship. I think the best thing (I'm a guy) about a relationship is the ability of romance. To find something or to take a slow process of building up a lifelong bond with a lover is the best feeling in the world. I'm not sure though the question you are asking though. But there are men whom love romance and only your true partner will know how to do it properly, slowly and with care to your pleasure.

be your own girl. don't "settle" for a guy.while dating don't just take what you can get. if you are big in an area and he is not cut him loose. far better to do it early and salvage a friend than to stay with it until it turns both of you sour. there are so many million people that so all the right things, why settle for any less. 1st) branch out- sometimes the right guy is not in your hometown. travel away for a weekend and see how they do it somewhere else. 2nd) don't get your dates from a bar. alcohol has not done a good thing for this country yet don't see how its going to make a "respectful" male outta anyone. 3rd) dating really just brings you down. if at all possible don't do it unless your with somebody else. all guys want is sex... just the way it is. so if you want a respectable man, don't give it up. in fact i wouldn't even suggest letting them touch you till at least the 3rd date.

I think because a lot of women today are very independent, than say a woman of 40 years ago.It isn't that men don't want to romance a woman,it is because you have to tell some of us.Just because you dress a certain way, wear a certain fragrance doesn't
mean that we understand you.Women in general, send out too many confusing signals to men and expect men to decipher them.Which is and,can be confusing.I am not saying to do anything you don't feel comfortable with, but if women wants to be romanced, she should come right out and tell the man. Not all men have lost the art of romance, you just gotta ask.

There is a book out there - He's just not that into you -
Even Oprah did a show on it..
Basically he just isn't that into you.. so you can either follow him around like a sheep and keep telling him what you want.
He will keep ignoring you .
Or you leave him and go out and find someone that is excited and happy to be with you and listen to you. As im sure you will be happy and excited to be with that person .
I wish you the best.

well, to try and answer your question...s: romance goes down whenever we feel we are the only ones participating, i admit we might get a little lazy and that whole cat-mouse game gets old. we gradually move up to the predator and prey type and sometimes we like to be the predator. just remember it takes two to tango.

So many girls are so eager to jump into bed, men have learned there is no reason to romance a girl anymore.

Try speaking less words
Learn to accept people as they are.
If your bf does not like "romancing", and it's so important to you, go find another one.
And understand that love of romance and masculinity very rarely occur together in straight males.
