yes guys spit but so do some girls too
its disgusting habit what ever the gender, the ones that spit tend to be smokers, my brother has smoked for 23 years since he was 11 and he always spits or gobs as he calls it to get rid of the tar from his throat, it a discus ting habit which no matter how much you ask him not too or say do you mind that's disgusting he still does it and more so.

One of the little neighbor girls used to constantly spit in the yard when she came over....I thought it was so disgusting! I'm from a family of smokers and most of them spit right in front of you or out the car window....Absolutely Disgusting!!! I am a smoker and if I need to spit I make sure I do it where no one can hear it or see it. Most people do have to spit at one point or another....but please people be polite and don't do it in front of other people because it looks and sounds REALLY nasty!

Look, we all know they belch, spit and fart both in private and in public. Oh, and don't forget the nose and zit picking too. It's just the way they're made and it's ALL gross. What do you expect when they haven't evolved properly from Apes yet.

I can kinda see why footballers do it though.... they get all snotty, so instead of snotting everywhere, they hawk it back & spit it out instead....
Just randomly walking down the street & spitting is vile.

Spitting, burping, farting, nose picking, crotch "shifting".....you name it all disgusting. My motto is if your gonna do it keep it to yourself i.e. run to the bathroom. This may sound horrible but I am even more repulsed when a female does this it is just so anti-feminine. But no matter male or female I don't accept that behavior from either gender it's just plain rude.

In Asia if a man spit in front of a stranger it is consider an insult. In Thailand the stranger will consider it a challenge to fight.
