All blue cheeses (Stilton, Gorgonzola, Dolcelatte, etc.) are stronger. And if you mean American "cheddar", then even the strongest is like cardboard compared to real English cheddar. (No, I am not English. It's just that I've eaten my way through the cheese of various continents.).

The "old cheddar" is stronger than medium or mild.
Blue cheese, Roquefort cheese, goat cheeses, Munster, Limburger, Gorgonzola, Stilton are examples of strong cheese.
