When my husband was deployed to Iraq during the war and I had to hear about his unit all over the news cuz they were first to be deployed over there and having to hear all over the media that this soldier was killed and that soldier was killed but they couldn't Identify the soldier until the family was contacted. That's what I had to listen to everysingle day cuz my husband couldn't call or write home for security reasons, so needless to say My Heart jumped everysingle time the phone or doorbell rang with fear that it was the MP's with some bad news. He is currently deployed AGAIN for the 6th time since the war in Iraq. It NEVER gets any easier however the communication is now there for us. By far that is the scariest thing that's happened to me.

To me? I had a guy follow my back into my apartment at 4am and I said to my then 5 yr old son, "come on honey time to get up" and we were going out the front door and my son stopped and said "Mom, there is a man closing the door" I guess he didn't know that honey was a little boy. That scared me pretty good.

Best shake them next time and get the house fumigated.

For me was on a Delta flight LA to Salt Lake City. We were almost in a near miss collision. That was VERY scary.

Years ago on a cold, gray winter day I was doing barn work by myself. It was very, very quiet. A kid about 10 years old hid behind a tack trunk and when I walked by he jumped behind me and screamed. I truly thought I was going to have a heart attack.

When I went into quick labor and was told there wasn't time for any pain relief. It was my first baby and when they told me I was so terrified. I think the thought of doing it was worse than actually doing it. I was so scared.
