why do you still remember it?

I was at a Francophone festival in New Brunswick in when I was 17. This young guy, red hair and crazy freckles, came up to me and gave me a basket of strawberries. In his broken English, he said "This is because you are so beautiful". then he walked away. It's be 19 years and I'll never forget that.

When I was in high school, there was this ski lodge that would have teen dances every weekend. My friend's and I went just about every weekend. At one particular dance, I was looking in this mirror that hung between the girl's and boy's bathrooms, just checking my makeup. This really cute guy came up behind me and said, "Stop what you are doing, you are perfect!" I turned around and I smiled this really cheesy grin at him and he just smiled back and walked away! I still remember it because it was so random and unexpected and I wish I would have done more than just smiled!

Have you ever seen that show "Deal or No Deal?"
I went to a wedding not too long ago, and all everyone kept telling me was how much I looked like one of the models on there. I suppose I remember it because it was just on Friday.

I remember people saying I'm a good singer after singing a solo in one of my church's singing groups. It was quite nice to hear those compliments. :)

Yep, I remember many times being told I could have been a Heavyweight Contender, but alas, that was not to be!

got tired of being too nice and had to ask the girl if she thought i was great looking and she was embarrassed that she never says anything that is an ego builder back

well one day this lady walked up to me in the movies and told me "I have to tell you, your so beautiful and you should know that"...i remember it because it was weird and sweet and she must have really thought i needed to hear it or she must have really thought i was...
