hand rolling tobacco is safer, (NO smoking is safe) but there is less harmful additives in hand rolling, as they keep going out.I think Tailor made fags have saltpetre them they burn away quick .

1/3 is straight tobacco, 1/3 is flaked paper that's been treated by spraying it with a liquid concocotion of concentrated tobacco by-products (this increases the nicotine) and the other third is some other filler product that is designed to increase the nicotine effect in your body.
You are better off with rolling your own cigarettes with naturally cured tobacco---that is, if you really can't quit. BTW, the national Great American Smokeout it coming up and it's an excellent time to think about quitting.

arsenic, formaldehyde, some have fiberglass in them. Hand rolled loose tobacco would be the same unless it is without additives. Loose tobacco just out of the field though is still enough to kill you. In fact, here in KY, when I was in high school the boys would earn extra money by stripping tobacco for farmers, but they had to be careful. For instance, if they handled alot of damp, raw tobacco they could absorb so much nicotine in their skin they could get seriously ill.

Don't know all the chemicals but am pretty sure there is one that is effectively the same as embalming fluid (not making it up seriously i read it somewhere).

I think there are less harmful chemicals in handrolling baccy than cigarettes,if you notice roll-ups go out where fags keep burning,so there must be something in that
