It has never been won by two players, otherwise it would be the HeisMEN trophy instead. The problem is that they take votes away from each other, just like Leinhart and Bush did last year. Both are great players dont get me wrong, but I really think that Troy Smith has it locked up this year.

I don't think it has ever been won by two players. If it was possible, Bush and Leinhart would've won it in 2005-06. Though Pat White and Steve Slaton are playing good, I think either Troy Smith or Darren McFadden is going to win it. Adiran Peterson would've won it he didn't get hurt.

No, there have been never co-winners of the Heisman Trophy.
Archie Griffin is the only person to win the award twice.

Neither one will win; His fumbles and performance in the Louisville game sealed his fate.

Unfortunately you have to have TV exposure in today's game to win it. Joe Capelletti was the last guy I remember that won it without much exposure. It's more for the big schools and who has the most money backing their publicity tour. Pretty sad.

neither of those two will be invited to New York this year, and no it hasnt. If you play more than one division two team in a season you shouldnt be allowd to play in a BCS game (in my opinion). Troy Smith will win it, then Quinn, then not sure really, maybe clavin johnson, but slaton isnt even the best rb in the nation and white? he would be third string on ohio state.

I think there have been co-winners before, but I'm not sure.
It would definitely not be two guys from the same team, though - they would take too many votes away from each other.
