I like this guy...we got drunk once and end up in bed. We both decided that it was a mistake and blame it on alcohol. Although there was a physical attraction. He has told me that he is not interested in a relationship since he is still getting over his last break out, which was 6 months ago. He also has told me that he rather have me as a friend, than have what happend that night. I'm usually soporting of him and try to help him anyway I can. he has told me:
"You are a very smart, beautiful, and proffesional woman, and that is an exceptionally rare trait in women that I meet" & "you're awesome (my name). thanks for being so understanding and helpful"
Do U guys use these type of words w/ girls that U are interested as friends only?

It sounds like he's trying to be as honest with you as he can and let you know that he is not ready for a relationship at present. When he does become available and want to seek out a mate I do not believe that you are going to be her as he values your friendship too much and does not want to lose that. Be grateful that he is so honest with you and try not to make the same mistake when drinking too often or you never know what might happen.

Absolutely, This sounds like one of the few genuinely nice guys out there. He was open and honest about his felling on your sexual encounter. He's told you that he's not ready, 'cause he cares about the ex still. This could be a guy that if you give it time becomes Mr.right. Or he could end up being on of the greatest friends you have. Men are capable though of being sweet and sincere and only seeing you as a friend.

Sounds like he's just not into you and he's trying to tell you as politely as possible. Maybe he doesn't find you attractive, but he did when he was trashed - everyone looks great to a guy when he's trashed. Regardless, guys don't know how to play hard to get and are not interested in doing so, he's just not into you.
