The single biggest mistake Bush made in the war was that he lost sight of what is happening in our own nation. Never do I hear him talking about environmental issues, poverty, quality of life, and general social issues. He has become focused on "The War on Terror". Hopefully the next president won't let the same thing happen to him or her.

The single biggest mistake that bush made as regards the war was to be too cowardly to serve in the Vietnam war where he might have learned about the futility and horror of war at first hand and that invading a country where you have first slaughtered thousands of innocent men women and children is a guarantee that you will be hated even by those who were prepared to welcome you.Do the American people not think it ironic that the man who sends their young men to war was himself afraid to go.
