Do you think that it is feasable for music to increase brain waves and thus performance? This idea sounds good to me but I wonder how realistic this is?? Your opignions would be appreciated.

No. "Increased brain waves" and "increased performance" are both very vague terms and there has been no scientific evidence that there is any relation between them. "Brain waves" are scientifically documented, but no one knows what their purpose is and are mostly likely related to sleep/wake cycles. The makers of IMusic say there is a scientific basis for their product, but I can tell you that there is no legitimate neuroscientific study showing any such link.

Yes, I do. It helps your creativity, relaxes you, and if concentrating mainly on the music, like with earphones, you can go to another place in your brain. I used to listen to music for hours. It was the music I put together on tapes, now Cd's, so I can only hear the music I like. Very few people can enjoy music absolutely, so it is very feasible I think to increase the brain waves if you can have or develop full concentration and relax completely. You sort of go into another world. It is wonderful to enjoy music and allow it to come into your head. I listened to the imusic and loved it.
