This morning I turned on my radio while having breakfast in the kitchen. My wife (in the bathroom) told me to turn it off because our daughter was watching TV in the living room. The volume of the radio was about same as TV, which was about 20 feet away from the kitchen table. Daughter was not bothered at all. Would you turn if off or leave it on?

kids watch too much tv anyways....it wouldn't hurt her to listen to the radio with you...
your wife should have asked your daughter to turn off the tv...you are the parent and the elder...it is only respectful

You should always reply to your wife, "Yes, honey, I'll get right on that. Turn down the radio to a quite level and everyone will be happy. (if your wife is in the bathroom)

Bring the radio closer to you and turn down the volume...it is your house too and you should have rights also.

Leave it on! Who's the grown up? You could show respect by adjusting the volume but you are not invading anyone's space.
