my eye site is becoming worse...and i want to no y....and how to prevent it from goin down....can some one tell me the physics part to the eye....Y does it go down?

Many things could be contributing... Inadequate nutrition, high blood sugar- if diabetic.,
cataracts (which can be removed),
macular generation........
at best... make sure you are getting adequate nutrients...... then follow up with an opthamologist visit.... if anything is wrong, and early enough.... they can fix it.
Degeneration of vision is something that is common with age, however you can do things to slow it.
