If he was the Greek god of war as one of your responders suggested, he would be named Ares Norris not Mars Norris. Mars was the Roman god of war. He seems like a very fit and pleasant person, but he is no Greek god.

Yes, he is the modern day personification of The Greek God Mars- the warrior God. He changed his name to Chuck because Mars sounded fruity and nobody would hire him in Hollywood if he went by Mars Norris.

no, for Mr. Norris would give his homage to the gentleman who actually started him in his career namely Mr. Bruce Lee. as not only Mr. Norris received his start but many others were started by Mr. Lee as well.
