Well honestly if you were responsible for sending American men and women to die for your "made up" war in Iraq...would you stop using the drugs and alchohol....probably not.
And for all you "kill them there...so we don't have here" folks. Get real. What's happening in Iraq is a Sunni-Kurd-Shiite thing and the sooner we get out of the middle...they can get busy killing each other and coming up with a winner.
Stop pretending that we mean anything to these people. We don't...we are just in the way messing it up...just like we did in Vietnam.
And really if this is a war...then fight a dang war and start really killing people....that means you go into Sadr City and waste everyone. Until you do that stop telling me this is a war....
War is fighting and killing the enemy...not going up and down the same road everyday so he can kill you....
Patton would not believe the ignorance we are displaying in this conflict.

What does drugs and liquor have to do with being an American? Last I checked this country was built by industrious greedy alcoholics.

the problem is having the very real threat of al qaeda attack this country is hard to take with such a ludicrous reason why. war is unpleasant, ugly and deadly but thats why they call it jihad and for the idiot liberals to stand by and wonder how soon we can pull the plug creates a hard fought dilemma. what nancy, hillary and the gang quickly forget is there are two sides to a war. is someone wants you dead and you leave, the chance of them following you to wherever you are and finishing the job is considerable.
realizing that your future is now mortgaged to a wiling participant in travelgate, filegate, whitewater, cattlefutures, the montana land grab, jennifer, paula , monica, lying under oath, the arkansas white house mafia, the vince foster coverup, etc, etc, etc, would only seem to be easier with large amounts of alcahol.

One price we must pay for freedom of speech is that, occasionally, we have to put up with immature and utterly unintelligent "commentary" such as this.
