My brother is like that. He really loves his cars and motorcycles and those things and whenever he buys one he takes a lot of photos of it and is really happy if somebody wants to see them and shows interest. He did buy a really nice car once and put photos all over his website with a detailed description about the car.

I think that people who do this are just really interested in this stuff and are happy about their new car and just want to talk about it and show it to people. People like talking about things that make them happy. Some people like showing their new apartment, clothes or gadgets to their family very proudly. It's pretty much the same with new cars.

I don't look too much into it. In rare cases it may be bragging, but I think most of the time people are just over the moon about their new stuff and are excited to show it to others.

It's exciting to get a new car. They are really enjoying the experience, just listen to them, then move on, like that new dress or new jeans that are fabulous that you describe to anyone who cares. Bragging, maybe or maybe enjoying something new in their life.

Sounds like they love their new car and wanted to share their happiness with you. If this person is your friend I wouldn't think they were trying to brag or be arrogant. I think they would be happy for you when something nice happens to you and they think you'll be happy for them too.

I'd view them as excited about the new car and being able to afford it, but then perhaps as arrogant as well. If they're not normally arrogant, then I'd just say excited.

How close are you to this person? If I was close friends with them I wouldn't think twice about it. If not then that's just a little strange in my eyes. I would be a little confused.

If I knew the person, I wouldn't think anything of it. If it was a stranger, I would feel pretty weird.

"bragging" comes to mind.

Or maybe they just want to share, if you're good friends!
