Without her getting angry or you getting angry? Because I'd say it's pretty easy to not get angry, unless you worship Satan.

Just be straight up and talk to her like you would a friend
Tell you that you saw her myspace and want to add her as a friend. (start off in a good way)
Then tell that there are people out there that pretend to be younger or something that they are not and use myspace and chat rooms to befriend young girls and take advantage of them and that she will get a ton of weirdos wanting to be her friend.
Tell her to NEVER meet with anyone, NEVER give out her phone # and address. And tell her that she can make her profile private so perverts don't look at her site and she can choose who she wants to view her site. Tell you that you did that too.

Tell her not to ever try and meet some one that she is talking to and that she should never give away personal info to people on the net. Oh and get her the movie hard candy.

She is your niece therefore you haveall the right to correct her when she is doing something wrong.. Talk to her smoothly and cleverly; avoid being demanding. Talk like her friend so that she would wanna share everything with you. I have 5 beautiful nieces and we are all likw friends.. We have hidden nothing in common.

just tell her that myspace has a lot of wierdos on it and that you would feel safer if she set hers to "private" and to not accept friends from people she doesn't know ...
she may get angry but you can try to follow it up with one the many stories that had a bad ending from bieng on myspace.

Perhaps you need to be more discrete. Now that she knows, she can promise not to read it, but you know she will. She's a child. Change your space and from now on, think before you type.

anonymously, after all you are protecting her safety and this is the responsible action to take with a child. These children are vulnerable and predators scour these sites looking for easy victims.
