What does "Hool" mean?

I'm taking a class taught by men in the military... and they say "hool?"... what does it mean... it sounds like they're saying "cool?" but it sounds more like "hool?"... is it used just like saying "cool?" or "ok?"...

I have never heard of the word nor is it in my dict. I would ask one of them. Won't hurt to ask.
