My best friend of 5 years just moved to florida and i miss her a whole lot and the reason they left is because her parents are getting back together! any sugggestions on how to feel better about it? please help me!

Make up some fun way of staying in touch, like meeting on IM at the same time every night, or sending real letters, or taking pictures of yourself going about your day and have her do the same, and start making plans to visit so it won't seem so bad.

Keep in touch on line and make a point of calling every couple weeks to just talk. Send birthday, Christmas cards to each other.. Make a pact to meet somewhere for a trip or vacation together for the summer or winter break... Convince your family to take a trip down south so you can hook up. Have her come and stay for a week during a holiday or visa versa... Start making plans... I did it with my friend years ago and have continued on to this day We have a great time when we are together, Even if it is once a year. We have both gone in different directions but our bond of friendship is very strong and we haven't given it any slack since we were kids.....

I moved several thousand miles away from my best friend, and every time I got really sad and missed her I just wrote her this huge long letter. Make sure you write it and not type it. Tell her everything youve been going, even the stupid little stuff, and maybe she will write you a big one back. Good luck

you guys can still keep in touch e-mail each other talk to each other on the phone and visit from time to time if you can. I know it's not the same but you will eventually find someone to hangout with and talk to again.

Find another Best friend where you live.She'll alway's be a best friend.Keep i contact with her and there's unlimited phone services now. so you can chat all day and night with her. Good Luck and Cheer up. :)
