Classic TV Show question...Frasier?

I love the TV show, Frasier and I just started watching it this year. I'm trying to catch up on all I've missed.
I have some questions, though.
1) Why do Frasier and Niles have British accents when both their mom and dad seem to be American with American accents?
2) How did they both become so anal when their dad seems so cool and easy going?

They don't sound British, they just sound Affected - which they are.
We don't know much about Fraisier and Niles' mother - perhaps that is where they learned to be such pretentious snobs...

1. Frasier and Niles don't have British accents. It may not be the same accent as their father's but it certainly isn't British.

2. Are you just like your parents? Some children turn out to be exactly opposite as their parents.

Frasier and his brother do not have a British accent but Niles' girlfriend Daphne does. They had an overprotective mother growing up and they are a bit anal cuz of it.

Just like their dad is opposit in personality type...apparently so was the mom. The real question is...how did their dad and his mom ever get together? hehe Their accents? Affectation is what it is. They probably went to school with the 'same' type of snobbish upbringing so to speak. Something like that.
I like the 'affectation' its refreshing in a way...it's what keeps them 'snobby' and hysterical. Hey, whatever works, right?

i think of Andy Griffith replaced into the main suitable. I enjoyed to exhibit screen Barney. I additionally enjoyed the Lucy teach and yet another sturdy one replaced into My well known Martian. I never ignored observing that on a Sunday night.

They are not Bristish they just talked that way LOL

Their mother was very neat and that is why they are more like their mother then their father
