I want to know what I could do as a response to a person who had my Power of Attorney and did not use it in my best interest. The person I gave Power of Attorney place a person on my title that I did not authorize nor would I benefit from.

Sounds like you made a grave mistake.

Was the power of attorney revocable?

I had an uncle who gave Bank of American control of his finances when he was in his mid 80's. They invested all his money in 30-year bonds. The income was not enough to live on and he did not qualify for assistance, he lasted less than a year. Then B of A bought up his bonds from the estate at 25% of market value.

Be real careful who you trust, always leave yourself a way out.

You need to seek legal counsel. The next step is that you are going to lose the thing (house?) that you had the title on to the person now on the title and his/her apparent accomplice. You can see it coming. Do something.
It sounds like you were scammed. Perhaps the person who did this to you is also doing it to others.
Don't feel bad. These predators are more expert at being predators, than a normal person is at protecting themselves.

Gaspode - your story is horrifying (what BoA did to your uncle).

I hope that the POA is revokable.

This would be the time to get an attorney to go over your documents and to suggest a course of action.

If the person breached a fiducuary duty, you may have a claim for damages, or legal grounds to undo whatever was done to your disadvantage.

You should seek legal counsel.

One of your best options is to seek criminal charges under fraud.
