We're trying to decide on a spa. Inisghts/opinions on Hotspring spas (Tiger River line) much appreciated. Also, does it take a lot longer to heat back up if it's 110v (vs 220v)?

yes, 220v is better to operate the spa (cheaper, heats quicker). the only downfall is you need to get an electrician to run a 220v line to it, and your electrical service needs to be able to support it. if you need to upgrade your electrical service its very expensive, plus about $500. (minimum) to run the 220v to the spa.

110v will take MUCH longer to heat up. Also the spa will not heat on 110v when you are using it with the pumps on. 220v is also cheaper to operate on. The disadvantages to 110v are tremendous.
