tried ignoring it but never really works

Regret, is it? Usually, these things take time to erase. How bout this: everytime the thought comes back, replace it with a picture of your dog in your head. Or think of....strawberries. I dunno, something totally random. Just squeeze the memories really hard. So hard that they move to the back of your head.

Im not sure what your talking about, but if its about a past relationship here goes. You may not be able to forget, but it may get easier everyday that goes by, just takes time.
