Do what I did. Divorce him. Mine wanted receipts and change every time I went to the store and he checked them. He would put a stone or something in front of the tires of my car before going to work, and if they had moved the slightest, he wanted to know where I went and who I was with. If I spent more than one minute in the bathroom, he would come in (it didn't have a lock) to see what I was doing. I had enough. When he left for work, I packed up the kids and left, never to return. You're not his property. If he doesn't trust you, he can't possibly love you.

He sounds dangerous and controlling.

If it were me I'd be out that door so quick you couldn't see me for dust.

Do you love him?

Does he love you? Or does he just want to own you?

Perhaps try marriage guidance - he doesn't sound like the type who would go for that though.

If he isn't violent towards you it may be something you could work at. If he is violent - that is a whole other story...

The more you sit there and allow this, the more power he will feel that he has. Stop his azz in his tracks and stand up for yours dear...Do this asap to put a halt to his control...You are a grown woman, and you parents raised you a long time ago. Consider leaving him if he continue this, because it's only going to get worse.

I agree with everyone else. Get out of the marriage ASAP. This is an extremely bad situation and it isn't ever going to get better.

Reema, sorry to say it, but you married a very controlling man, and things won't get any better unless he gets help for it. Get out now while you can. Seriously. Good luck dear.

ask his permission to talk to a lawyer. If he declines, talk to one anyway. This type of control freak is probably breaking all of the rules he set for you, and going behind your back every chance he gets.

get out now

i think men who do this is covering some secret by keeping you on the defence..it will only lead to a divorce sooner or later sooner is better..when people are jealous of their wife its because he knows there are things out there bigger and better than him..he afraid you will find out so if he dont get to this answer before you then you know..go find out for yourself and after reading this answer show it to him and watch him squirm

Honestly? What do YOU think you should do.
This is not a question to ask other people.
That's like asking, I can 't get a job with out an education. What should I do?

He needs counceling, and I would leave him until he gets it! This behavior can and probably will become physically abusive! You are an adult! No one has the right to control you!
