Easy for me to give you a draft; I am an alumnus of XLRI (PM&IR). However it would be best if you did it yourself. Here are a few hints.

'why do you want to do an MBA in HR? To get a well paid job? Do u have any special aptitude? Your people skills are good? How can u say that? Can u listen to others' elaborating on their troubles and problems? Do you genuinely like people and wish to help, if u can? Are u a good motivator? Do u like to teach(train) others? Would it give u pleasure to bring out the best in others and help them grow in their career? Can u throw the book (apply rules of the Company) at others if counselling doesn't work? Do you have any aptitude for law, specifically, Labour Law? Have u read any court judgment, preferrably Supreme Court judgment? (Read two: one where the judgment is in favour of Management and another in favour of workman).

Or is it that u would like to be an HR consultant or a Professor in a B School?

And then some "why nots". Why not marketing, finance etc? What will u do if u dont get into "this" B School (this for ur interview which u will have to face after passing the written)

Good luck, it is a great profession. I would be glad to answer any specific querries. My daughter is now studying in XL.

I can't tell you what to write. Only you know why you are going to grad school. Only you can say what getting an MA in economics is going to do for your future.
